Micropiles

Micropiles generally range in sizes from 6" to 12" in diameter and are installed with small drill rigs in a variety of applications. They are used for foundation support, to stitch together crumbling foundations, as underspinning systems, to stop slide movements and for a variety of other uses. Micropiles are a versatile tool in the hand of the designer who can solve many problems intractable by other means.

They combine the high bearing capacity with the operational flexlblllty and speed. In particularly delicate situations, such as underpinning structures, it can be preloaded using rigorously controlled system, in order to assure minimum settlement.
